Lending a Helping Hand

A few months ago one of Mrs. Betts former students, who now goes to Elgin Park Secondary School, came to our class asking for our help.  She and her family have friends who travel to Guatemala and help the people who live there.  They provide health care to them.  She asked for our help in donating any shoes that we have outgrown to children there who don't have the money to buy their own shoes.  Today she came by to give us two pictures showing how much our generosity is appreciated by the children there.  Here are the two pictures she gave us!

We felt great knowing that we helped other kids and made them smile!
