Last week we began an inquiry study of the beach. We started with the question - What animals and plants live in the tidal pools of our coastal beach?
Mrs. Betts gave us a QR code to help us quickly access a website that showed
many different tide pool creatures, and we used the pictures and
information to help us draw various creatures that live on the beach or
in tide pools.

After we had done some reading we began drawing and colouring different animals and plants and then we added them to our tide pool mural. We even added a few sea gulls! We look forward to
learning more about these creatures in the coming weeks, and hopefully
finding a few of them at the beach on our upcoming field trip!
