Happy Mother's Day!

This past week we had a guest 'expert' come to help us build birdhouses for Mother's Day.  Mrs. de Jager's dad had prepared birdhouse kits for all of the grade twos, and we built them with the help of our big buddies.  It took 27 nails to put the birdhouse together, so it was a big job!

Let me just watch and see how this is done!

There was lots of nails being pulled . . . glad he brought his pliers!

 The next day we painted our birdhouses in bright colours to get them ready for our moms.  They looked beautiful all lined up in the sunshine!

 Then on Friday we joined the Kindergartners, Grade 1 and Grade 2s to perform several songs for our moms.  We were so happy to have so many moms there to enjoy our singing!  We want to wish all of our moms a happy Mother's Day!
