Our First Face Time! - the Power of Connecting
Today we finally got to see and talk to Jack (he moved to Madison, Wisconsin) and talk to him about his big move! We were so excited! Before we connected with him we worked in partners to come up with some questions that we wanted to ask him. We also wrote down some things we wanted to share with him about what we have been doing in our class. It was so great to see him and talk to him. We found out that he is learning Spanish! His Spanish name is Juan. We also learned that he has snow and he can go sledding right in his own backyard! He looks just like he did when he left. We can't wait to do it again soon! Thanks Jack for talking to us!

It is amazing what technology can do.
ReplyDelete15 years ago, video conferencing was only available to very large companies.
5 years ago, a lot of companies had the ability to video conference, but it was very expensive and didn't work very well.
Now, everyone can video conference!
It's a great way to stay connected. Now you just have to remember what time zone Jack is in!
