The Water Cycle - continued!

On Thursday we reviewed the water cycle. First we met as a large group and reviewed what we had learned on Monday.  Mrs. Betts recorded our thinking on the board!  She was very impressed with what we had remembered.

Next we were divided into groups of 4 or 5. We had to use the words evaporation, condensation, precipitation and accumulation.  First we made pictures to show what each word meant then we decided how we wanted to share our knowledge.  Some groups had the narrator say the whole script, other groups had each person do a part.  This is all to help us get ready for our science and innovation fair that is coming soon.

Check out two of our short videos.  How do you think we did?

To help us learn the stages of the water cycle, we have also been learning "The Water Cycle Song."  Today we practiced the words - without the music - while following the words that are printed in our poetry binders.  It's a very catchy song that goes around and around!  You can listen to us by clicking the link below.
