Matt - it almost looks like you have two patterns going at the same time! I noticed that your red blocks are in groups of odd numbers. I also noticed that the tan block on the bottom seems to be in an ABBA pattern. First it faces to the left, then to the right, then to the right again, and then back to the left. Did you intend to create a double pattern? Love Mom
Thanks for visiting our blog. Wow! You made some very good observations. We are learning about growing patterns. I didn't mean to make an ABBA pattern at the bottom of my growing pattern! Please visit us again soon! The Cheetahs
We like how you made 3D patterns. We like how they grew bigger because it looks like people swimming. From my math class, patterns can be made with shapes or colors. Patterns can go ABABAB or ABCABCABC. If you had more room, would you keep going? Did you share your patterns at your assembly? From, Katie, Louisa, Srimathi, and Jimmy from Westgate
