Winter Wonderland

Last week we created a multimedia art project using pastels, paint, paper and markers.  We began by using oil pastels to create twinkling lights in the sky.  Next we showed the reflection of those lights using chalk pastels.  The snow bank in the middle was created using white paint. Then we used our knowledge of  shapes to create houses and people skating on the frozen pond.  The final details were added using markers and pastels.  We LOVE the way they turned out and hope you enjoy them too! Notice all the details, especially in the skaters!
